Well after a rather mad round in which positions from 2 to 5 got shaken up a lot the table looks quite different. Wasps almost back to their old selves with the idea of no matter how many you score we’ll score more although the lad Malins looks to be some player. Not quite as free scoring with Bath and Sale but Bath very good value for their win think they managed to stop Sale playing. The old adage about forwards win matches and backs decide by how much couldn’t have been truer in that match.
The Sarries U11 vs the Chiefs U9s was at least interesting to see some of the talent coming through. I have just a small suspicion that neither Leinster or saints will be facing quite the same line up. Will own up to not watching the Wuss / Exiles game but neither are going to be challenging for anything serious anytime soon. I did watch probably the most passionless East Midlands derby I’ve seen ever. I know crowds aren’t allowed but neither team were that great and it was hardly a great advert for rugby. I doubt the tigers fans care that much though as it;’s a small ray of hope after rather a dismal season. I realise there is still a fixture to go so may have to do an edit later.
At least the positions 2 to 5 offer some excitement with Chiefs guaranteed top spot and relegation decided. In our table Monty retains his clear lead
