Not the foregone conclusion that table positions suggest..Tigers will be desperate to try and put some more breathing space between them and $arries and what better side than Saints..for so long the whipping boys down the road but my, how things have changed in recent years. Saints have won their last 3 away games at Turnip Field and this is Tiger’s chance to set things aright on our patch. Boyd’s attacking mantra is beginning to pay dividends but sodden grounds are not conducive to their open style at present. Still relatively lightweight in the pack, (no Ribbans who has been immense of late) the new prop Franks is a definite improvement over his bro and with Rip van Winkle and Painter on the bench I’m hoping the starting pack can hold the fort long enough for the backs to prosper. Despite winning their last two games Saints have left a hatful out on the pitch by HT. Let’s hope they remember the pain that Tigers have dished out over the years and that they could be staring down the wrong end of a barrel if things dont improve soon..no incentive then ! A sell out some time ago, the stage is set for the original local derby. May the cards be few, the ref have two eyes, Tigers tamed and The Beast manages to stay on his feet long enough to score. NWO ?..you read it here first
